How ChanceKeeper handles your data

Information we collect

We collect the information needed to create and secure your account, provide subscriptions, and let you track EuroJackpot numbers. This may include your email address, password hash if you use email/password login, OAuth account identifiers if you log in with Google or Facebook, billing-related identifiers from Stripe, your preferred language, and the number sets you save in the app.

Legal entity and payments

Payments and legal matters for ChanceKeeper are handled by trueapps a.s., Olomoucká 81, Brno, Czech Republic, Registration Number: 26237661. All billing and privacy obligations are fulfilled by this company.

How we use your information

We use this data to authenticate you, keep your session working, manage cookie consent, process subscription access, show your saved entries, refresh draw-related views, operate account settings, and send emails in your preferred language. We also use it to enforce plan limits and to keep the product working after you log in again.

Cookies and session data

ChanceKeeper uses a secure httpOnly refresh cookie to keep you signed in. If you accept cookies, the app can restore your session automatically. If you reject cookies, the app stays usable, but login persistence is disabled and you may need to log in again more often. OAuth sign-in also relies on a short-lived session used for state protection during the redirect flow.

OAuth and third-party services

If you choose Google or Facebook sign-in, those providers receive information needed to authenticate you and return the account details necessary to link your login to ChanceKeeper. Billing and subscription processing is handled through Stripe. We use the following infrastructure and service providers to operate ChanceKeeper:

• Railway — hosts our backend API and processes requests.
• Cloudflare — provides frontend hosting, DNS, and CDN services.
• Supabase — stores user data and lottery entries in a managed PostgreSQL database.
• Resend — delivers transactional emails (such as account verification and notifications).
• Stripe — handles billing and subscription payments.

We do not control the privacy practices of these providers, and their own policies apply to data they process. Where possible, we select providers with strong security and privacy reputations. You can review their privacy policies for more information.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only when necessary to run the service, such as with our infrastructure, hosting, authentication, email, and payment providers, or when required by law. This includes Railway, Cloudflare, Supabase, Resend, and Stripe. Stripe may retain billing records for legal and accounting purposes. Our providers may process or store your data as part of delivering their services to us.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as it is needed to provide the service. You can delete your account from the profile page. When you do, ChanceKeeper removes the local account and associated app data, and it makes a best-effort attempt to clean up the linked Stripe customer record.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can also change cookie preferences in the app at any time.

Security

We use standard application safeguards, including HTTPS in normal deployments, password hashing, and httpOnly cookies for session handling. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect the data we process.
